Meet the Ama diver in Wajima. Ama diver is a traditional diver who only uses simple snorkeling tools to harvest shellfish or seaweeds. In this 2-part tour, at first, you will have a chance to talk with Ama divers and walk around the port to learn their work and life styles, then the next morning, you will go on a small fishing boat to see the Ama diver in action. Depending on the time of the year, you will be able to receive shellfish such as abalone, or seaweeds such as mozuku from the Ama diver.

Go on the boat and sail to where Ama divers are working.

Watch Ama divers harvesting the shells and seaweeds, talk to some of the divers.
