Soji-ji Ancestor Temple

Together with Eiheiji Temple, it was the head temple of the Soto sect of Zen Buddhism. Most of the temple buildings were destroyed by fire in 1898, and the head temple was then moved to Tsurumi in Yokohama. Soji-ji has been partly rebuilt to its original form, and change its name to Soji-ji Soin (Soji-ji ancestor temple)
